Finding your next step

Finding the next step forward can be tricky if you are feeling stuck or like you are going around in circles. This can sometimes bring about feelings of being alone or overwhelmed.  Or you may just feel like you have 'lost your mojo'.

​

At Step Up NZ, we believe in meeting you wherever you are at, no matter how scary it is, and walk alongside you to find the next step. Through conversation, activities and movement, we can help shine a light on the path ahead. We believe physical, mental, emotional and social wellbeing are all key elements to help you discover how to find the way to living a full life that you love.

​

Whether you want to Step Up and create life changes or Step Up to the microphone and speak confidently, or reach fitness goals and push through challenges, it's important for us to recognise that success looks different for each person, and celebrating the things that make us unique, is what leads to authentic living.

​

Moving from chaos to calm, from conflict to fierce determination, will provide a sense of passion and purpose. By creating the freedom to be who we really are (and not who we thought we needed to be to make other people happy) we find inner confidence and empowerment to choose a life on your own terms.

All it takes is the next step.

MEET SEUGNET

I have lived a full and eventful life, and early on my learning about life and understanding myself, did not come easy. Things began to change for me when I came to the full realisation that I was the author of my own life, that within me I had the strength and power, to not only change my circumstances but to create my life how I chose. I stopped blaming, finding excuses, and my life started taking a shape that was more in line with my heart and passion. My inspiration and drive come from my late father who showed me that it is never too late to change and that every day is a day to take lessons from to become the best version of yourself. 

​

My joy comes from walking alongside others as they find the freedom to live true and authentic lives, and it is my privilege to be beside them during this journey. I have been coaching in one form or another for many years. It is something that I have always naturally been drawn to and I have pursued ongoing study and learning. What I have learned has provided many useful tools and perspectives, yet it is my own life experience that continues to ensure I bring empathy, compassion and respect to each and every client I work with. Time and again I have drawn on my inner resources to Step Up, and my coaching style and practice reflect everything I've learned about what is really important in life: finding the freedom to be your authentic self.

You'll find Seugnet most days out and about in her hometown of Waihi Beach with her wife Cas and their dogs Olive and Rita. A mother of two grown, bad-ass women, Seugnet is an active member of her local community, an ambassador for the It's Not OK Anti-Domestic Abuse campaign, and is a Trustee for CanSurf, a respite camp for young people living with cancer. Seugnet loves the lifestyle living at the beach offers and enjoys the cafes and bars, Yoga, Waka Ama and the many stunning cycle and walkways.
